SARPA VIRTUAL TRAINING ACADEMY PRESENTS: Basic Revenue Protection Course
After the completion of a very successful Essential Infrastructure workshop for SARPA members last week, we at the SARPA VIRTUAL TRAINING ACADEMY are ready for the start of the SARPA lockdown training program. The first course on the calendar will be the Basic Revenue Protection course from 11 to 12 August 2020.
Goal of the training program
It must be noted that the goal of the SARPA Revenue Protection training program is to give delegates several types of tools to become self-motivated, in order to deal effectively with the relevant challenges and threats they face on a daily basis. This training program will also look into goal setting and influencing skills and delegates will therefore be taught how to become champions in combatting crucial issues within the Revenue Protection field.
When you think of Revenue Protection in Utilities, many things may come to mind like:
- Minimizing and recovery of revenue losses
- Enhancement of revenue
- Reduction of essential infrastructure crimes
- Acts, Regulations, Standards, Policies, Procedures and operations
We plan to cover all aspects in the different levels of training like Basic, Management, Advance and Specialization courses. The Basic course can be seen as the heart of the revenue protection processes and covers all the operational aspects of the revenue protection concept and is therefore the best place to start in order to understand all the processes, administration and issues like tampering and other aspects that leads to non-technical losses.
Course development and presentation methods
The SARPA Revenue Protection courses were developed by experts from first-hand experiences for audiences who demand the latest knowledge presented by passionate facilitators, who like to engage, persuade, inspire and convince participants to follow the path to excellence. We have therefore transformed our training material for this remote training experiences in these very challenging times according to these principles and hope participants enjoy the experience.
The SARPA virtual programme makes use of several different training mediums, skills and tools to ensure participants can obtain the maximum amount of knowledge by implementing adult training methods and pitches that maximise engagement and deliver better results.
